About Us
Group of friends and classmates who attended high school from class 1970-1974 at Sto Nino Academy (SNA), from a small town, called Bamban, in the province of Tarlac in the Philippines, reunited with compassion to help improve lives of children in the community by taking action. It started at a small reunion in Las Vegas in March 2011. Two years later, the first BOD Meeting was held in December 13, 2014. SNA Alumni Foundation was founded with a Mission to "Give Back".
Our Mission
SNAAF is Non-profit organization, incorporated and organized in December 2013 under CA Reg. #3686688. Our mission is to "give back" to underprivileged children globally. We are dedicated volunteers raising funds through membership, grants and donations for educational and charitable purposes for students who meet the SNAAF criteria and have the potential to make a change to oneself for the best of their family, community and country.
How it started...
Sometime in 2011 - Las Vegas get-together (Mabini Arcilla & Wife Arlene, Edgardo Enciso, Wilfredo Dizon & wife Del, Nida Esguerra and husband Mark, Percibal Lumboy and Marissa "Madizon" Tadeo - aka Maddie), followed by first Board Meeting and election of first SNAAF President - Ted Caballa
December 14,2013 - SNAAF President- Ted Caballa and First Board Members: Rod Galang, Bing Arcilla, Edgardo Dela Cruz, Marissa Tadeo and Wilfredo Dizon (unofficial) attended the first Board meeting of SNAAF on 13Dec2014. Meeting held at Ted's residence in San Diego, CA followed by a Zoom meeting with Veronica "Nette" designed to be the SNAAF Treasurer. Ted and heartfelt leadership for two years (2014-2016) and the Board Members support where SNAAF now stands.

July 4, 2015- Will Dizon (SNAAF-U.S. Executive) and wife Del, announced the execution of their campaign to raise funds for "The Gregory Dizon Scholarship Funds". The initiated campaign is dedicated in memory of their late son, Gregory. According to Will and Del, they will grant a $ 5,000 annually to SNAAF "Child Hope" program to continue meeting its goals and objectives. He will be serving as SNAAF President effective January 2016.
SNAAF will not be standing if not for the sacrifices and kind support of SNA Member Sonia Marimla and Abel Manaois who tirelessly performed investigational visits in the home of students (shown below) to confirm their qualification and ensure SNAAF requirements and criteria are met to be a future scholar candidate of SNAAF.

There are children all over the world living underprivileged who need higher education. But, due to high rate of poverty, they chose food and clothing over education. SNAAF is committed to raise funds and help them get access to opportunities to attain higher education for a brighter future.
